Timothy Project: Program Criteria



Leading Souls to Christ
  1. Consideration is given only to those who have a doctrinal position in agreement with The Carpenter's Project.

  2. Assistance is limited to national pastors ministering in countries determined to be closed to foreign missionaries and/or countries hostile toward the presentation of the Gospel.

  3. Assistance is limited to national pastors who have completed their ministerial training but remain under the guidance of an approved mentor throughout the period of support.

  4. Support is temporary, and is reduced by 20% per year, until all support expires at the conclusion of the 5th year. Note: it is our belief that believers should be taught principles of tithing and stewardship. Our church planters are encouraged to teach those principles and depend upon the gifts of the local church.

  5. Any Timothy recipient is disqualified from the program if he comes to the U.S. seeking additional financial support.
